about

Originally from San Diego, Calif., Glenn made his way to the Carolinas in 1985 and has resided here ever since. His love of art began in 1982, and he got his foothold under the tutelage of renowned painter Gene Locklear.

From 1985-86, Glenn studied under Donna Beck Rhodes, winning several awards and as well as a two-year college scholarship to study art. In 1987, he studied with the late Robbie Tillotson, who was well known in the New York art scene in the ’70s, and who continued to exhibit his work until his death in 1988.

Throughout the ’90s, Glenn worked in the commercial art industry. In 1999, he decided to step back into painting. With the help of great friends in the world of art and interior design, Glenn now makes his living creating new and lively spaces for his clients. From whole-wall treatments, to furniture and fine art, Glenn uses his culmination of art knowledge and creativity to make each work a masterpiece.

With the variety of work that Glenn does, his studio is generally in the client’s home. However, his favorite studio is in York, SC.
